Fullscreen VM

Using a VM inside a window is not ideal, let's set them up for fullscreen. First, open the VM settings, go to "User Interface" in the sidebar and uncheck the "Show in Full-screen/Seamless" checkbox.

Then start it up, and go into the Ubuntu Desktop's display settings inside the VM. Type Windows key-Display to open direct to those settings in the settings app. Select the same resolution that the host is using, in my case 1920x1080. Then click "Apply".

Then click "Keep Changes".

To open your VM in fullscreen, click Right Control-F.

Now is a good time to adjust your appearance settings. To exit back to host, click Right Control-F at any time.
